Welcome to the online home of the Sonshine Security Crew!  What began as a crew of eight at Sonshine '87, has swelled to 140+ each year with an all time crew of over 650.  Those eight in 1987 handled the security of one stage and the Sonshine Festival lasted just a day and a half.  We had no radios, no golf carts or ATV's, and Domino's Pizza was the only thing on the menu for lunch and dinner!  Over the years the Sonshine Security crew has grown to accommodate the ever growing Sonshine Festival.  We now handle three stages over the four days of the Festival twenty four hours a day.  We maintain three separate crews, each uniquely chosen to handle the tasks they're given.  It's quite the challenge, but it is the most enjoyable and rewarding time of the year for everyone on crew.  The Sonshine Security crew is an amazing collection of wonderful servant-minded people that can be found all over the United States.  You never know when or where you'll run into one of us!  

Whether you're visiting our site for the first time, possibly interested in joining the crew, or you're a returning crew member, we invite you to fully explore our site.  Here you'll find an Application to join, Staff bios, Testimonials from the crew, and all the wonderful forms needed to signup each year to work the Sonshine Festival, Joyful Noise, or Local Events.   

 

If you are a current or past member of the crew you must REGISTER on the Login Page or in the upper right hand corner and be verified by us in order to fill out the Festival Signup Forms each year.  Until you're registered you will NOT even see those tabs. Registration is for crew members ONLY! You DO NOT need to register if you want to work local shows or fill out an Application.
